Overview

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for owning the Card@Once product strategy, functional requirements, future releases, and product outcomes to ensure the on-going success and growth of Card@Once. The position is expected to work cross-functionally to plan, promote, execute, and market launch all future iterations, features, and functions of the Card@Once solution, and will be regarded as the market SME, analyzing industry trends, competitor products, customer feedback, and monitoring potential head-winds to drive innovation and enhancement of product offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Product Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to define the overall product strategy, aligning it with the company's goals and objectives. Partner with marketing to conduct market research and gather customer feedback to identify market trends and opportunities
  • Product Planning: Create and maintain a product road-map that outlines the product vision, key features, and time-line for development. Prioritize product initiatives based on business impact, customer needs, and resource availability. Leverage subject matter expertise to define detailed product requirements and drive execution of the technology build; Lead technical discussions to review requirements, inform the technical design, and requirements to the technical team; Serve as subject matter expert on Agile methodologies, user story creation, and iterative development processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful product development and launch. Collaborate with engineering teams to define product requirements and oversee the development process. Serve as the subject matter expert on the Card@Once solution for technical, business and legal team.
  • Product Enhancements: Manage the entire product development life-cycle, from ideation and prototyping to testing and launch. Coordinate with design teams to create intuitive and user-friendly product experiences. Develop guides and best practice tools for clients and partners to use during commercialization efforts and support new clients as they transition to our instant issuance Card@Once platform Support business development efforts with product training, supporting customer development efforts and testing.
  • Vendor Management: Conduct thorough assessment of potential vendors as needed, reviewing vendor performance, KPI’s and compliance. Act as a primary point of contact internally and externally- for vendor inquiries, issues, requests, contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and risk management.
  • Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: In conjunction with the Marketing and Strategy teams, monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities and potential threats. Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to ensure the company's products stand out in the market
  • Stakeholder Management: Build solid relationships with internal stakeholders, including executives, sales teams, IT and customer support. Collaborate with these teams to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure alignment on product goals. Provide status, action plan and recommendations to senior leadership, partners, and internal stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Product Performance Evaluation: Track and analyze product performance metrics, such as revenue, customer satisfaction, and adoption rates. Make data-driven decisions to optimize product features, pricing, and marketing strategies Support go-to-market activities from marketing.Knowledge of and understanding of SaaS technologies and concepts
  • General knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • General knowledge of network technologies
  • Experience with legal negotiations of technology products and/or hardware
  • Experience with Jira, Microsoft 365, NetSuite, and Monday.com (preferred)

Qualifications

  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
  • Proven ability to successfully plan, organize, prioritize, and execute work; respond to changing needs and balance competing priorities
  • Avid problem solver and multi-tasker; comfortable in ambiguous situations or as decision maker
  • Thought leader who can translate a product vision into a commercial product
  • Ability to articulate complex technical issues to a variety of audiences (executive leadership, marketing, legal, IT, operations) across a multitude of delivery channels (email, presentations, phone, in-person meetings)
  • Strong ability to communicate concepts and recommendations, and build consensus with senior executives, clients, and technology partners on the Card@Once product

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years experience in the financial services industry preferred
  • 8-10 years experience in Product Management with a major financial institution or financial services entity heavily preferred
  • Experience bringing product(s) to market
  • Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary
  • Travel as needed for internal meetings, vendor/customer visits, trade-show attendance 10-20%

Physical Demands:

 

  • This position requires; ability to work from home, reliable high-speed Internet access (hot-spot not acceptable), dedicated distraction-free home work environment.
  • Hours are minimum 40 hours per week during company’s regular business hours however evening and/or weekend work may be required as job duties demand;
  • Work is in a typical office environment; prolonged sitting required (1-2 hours at a time);
  • Position requires travel by car and/or plane 10%-20%
