- Preferred Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer (AWS Certified SysOps Administrator), or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
- Preferred cloud knowledge: Foundational knowledge of one of the following cloud environments Azure, GCP, Oracle.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or comparable experience.
- 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles with a focus on AWS.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services equivalent to AWS Solution Architect or AWS CloudOps Engineer (AWS SysOps Administrator) – Associate certifications.
- Experience with cloud governance frameworks, AWS Organizations, and policy enforcement.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into the CI/CD process.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Event Bridge, Datadog, Splunk).
