Overview

We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to become part of our team! The main duty of the Maintenance Technician role is to identify and fix equipment issues to reduce production downtime – both reactively by utilizing the CMMS work order ticket system and pro-actively through established PM schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Locate and resolve the source of problems by observing machines in operation
  • Ensures proper operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by maintaining electric motors (AC, DC, Servos, and Stepper), pneumatic systems, conveyors, and mechanical systems
  • Ensure consistent operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on schedule
  • Use CMMS for parts and work order tracking
  • Reference operator and maintenance manuals, manufacturer’s instructions and engineering specifications to troubleshoot machine malfunctions
  • Adjust equipment using hand tools and precision measuring devices
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions with multi-meters and other test instruments
  • Capable of making minor modifications on equipment
  • Participate in the installation of new equipment
  • Confers with production on resolutions
  • Maintain a neat and tidy work 
  • Participate in company 5S program

Pay range depending on experience: $31+ DOE

Qualifications

Required Skills and Education

  • Must have a high school Diploma or Equivalent
  • Undergraduate degree in mechanical electrical, or industrial maintenance – preferred.
  • 5+ years repairing and maintaining industrial machinery and support equipment
  • Strong understanding of electrical, pneumatic and mechanical components
  • Must be highly motivated to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects effectively
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment
  • Ability to make precise adjustments to achieve pre-determined results
  • Ability to work occasional overtime to accommodate the needs of production

Desired Experience:

  • Fundamental understanding of Machine Automation Controls
  • Experience installing electrical and pneumatic systems
  • Prior experience in printing technology and operations, packaging, fulfillment, or plastic card manufacturing industry
